Maiz, Germany | May 20, 2026 – QuantumShield Technologies (QST) participated in the 2026 ALBA Meeting, held in Germany on May 19–20. The event brought together global leaders and technical experts in automotive low-voltage battery innovation and sodium-ion battery technology.
The meeting was actively attended by leading Western automotive manufacturers, including Ford Motor Company, Volkswagen AG, Audi AG, Stellantis, TRATON, Scania, and other industry participants, reflecting the increasing interest in next-generation low-voltage battery solutions.
During the meeting, QST CEO Shawn Peng and Director of Application Engineering Yuki Nagata delivered presentations covering four key technical areas focused on the future of sodium-ion batteries for automotive low-voltage applications:

The technical discussions highlighted the growing momentum behind sodium-ion battery adoption in 12V automotive systems, with a focus on global ecosystem development, standardization efforts, safety performance, cold-temperature capability, power capability evaluation, State of Function prediction, and system-level validation.
