QuantumShield Announces Leadership Transition to Strengthen Execution and Governance.

Claremont, CA | February 28, 2026 – QuantumShield Technologies announces a Board-approved leadership update designed to strengthen execution, governance, and strategic alignment as the company enters its next stage of growth.

Effective immediately, Shawn Peng has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), while Richard Han will transition from CEO to Chairman of the Board.

Richard Han Transitions to Chairman of the Board

Richard Han will continue to serve QuantumShield as Chairman of the Board, focusing on strategic oversight and governance. In this role, he will provide long-term strategic guidance, lead Board activities, and support key corporate initiatives.

As Chairman, Richard will focus on:

• Providing strategic direction and long-term company vision

• Leading Board governance, meetings, and Board-level initiatives

• Offering oversight and guidance to the CEO on major initiatives and company performance

• Supporting fundraising through strategic positioning and investor introductions, in collaboration with the executive team

• Assisting with after-market sales strategy and key relationship development when appropriate

Shawn Peng Appointed Chief Executive Officer

Shawn Peng, previously President and CTO, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (full-time) and will lead QuantumShield’s day-to-day operations and execution.

As CEO, Shawn will focus on:

• Leading daily company operations and execution

• Driving product development and engineering priorities

• Advancing product validation and commercialization readiness

• Building and executing supply chain strategies

• Advancing U.S. manufacturing localization planning and implementation

• Leading commercial execution and customer programs, including after-market initiatives

• Partnering closely with CFO Heidi on fundraising strategy, investor engagement, and financing execution
